Bills Operations

Job Summary

This position is responsible for timely and proper processing of various kinds of import and export trade products.

Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with established controls and procedures.
Processes timely and properly all import and export transactions such as L/C issuance, advising and transfer, L/C and collection bills payment, etc.
Processes timely and properly import and export loan applications such as invoice financing, invoice discounting and packing loan, etc.
Inputs data speedily and accurately via Bills System.
Handles customer enquiries and provides professional advice to customers.
Keeps supervisors informed of error, special cases and irregularities occurred and seeks their advice for appropriate action.
Follow-up and files bills records timely and properly.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

Degree holder or above preferred
At least 5 years hands-on experience in Bills operations
Knowledge of established uniform rules and regulations relating to international trade
CDCS preferred
Thorough knowledge of established uniform rules and regulations in relating to international trade, the relevant regulations of The Hong Kong Association of Banks and the related legal implications
Working knowledge of Bills system related to bills processing
Ability to handle customer enquiries and provide professional advice
Fast and accurate data input
Ability to perform multi-tasks
Possession of PC operation knowledge
Ability to work under pressure
Willing to learn and work hard
