Job Description

We are currently seeking a HR Manager for HK and TW team who will report to APAC HR Director as part of our dynamic HR team. This role will be based in HK office.

Your Opportunity

As HR Manager, you will act as the primary HR Business Partner for the Hong Kong and Taiwan offices, providing both strategic and operational HR support to business leaders and employees. You will drive key people priorities including talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee relations. As part of your broader role, you will also participate in APAC HR projects and regional initiatives, collaborating with regional HR teams, Shared Service Centers, and HQ stakeholders to support the consistent delivery of HR programs and best practices across the region.

This is a highly visible and hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of HR matters across Hong Kong and Taiwan. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating independently, balancing strategic business partnering with day-to-day HR execution, while leveraging support from Shared Service Centers, regional HR teams, and HQ stakeholders when needed.

How you will contribute :

HR Business Partnership

·         Serve as the trusted HR Business Partner for the Hong Kong and Taiwan offices, providing both strategic and operational HR support to managers and employees.

·         Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

·         Support managers in driving high-performing and effective teams while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

·         Advise stakeholders on employee relations matters, organizational changes, and people-related decisions.

Talent Acquisition & Talent Management

·         Lead end-to-end recruitment activities to attract and retain high-quality talent aligned with business growth plans.

·         Partner with hiring managers to ensure effective workforce planning and timely hiring execution.

·         Support talent review, succession planning, and performance management processes in line with Group guidelines.

·         Contribute to leadership and employee development initiatives to strengthen organizational capability.

Employee Relations & Compliance

·         Provide guidance on local labor law and HR policies to ensure compliant people practices.

·         Manage employee relations matters in partnership with business leaders, Shared Service Centers, and Legal teams when required.

·         Support organizational changes and employee lifecycle processes while ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

·         Manage separation cases in cooperation with SSC and Legal teams to ensure compliance and minimize business risk.

HR Operations, Budget & Reporting

·         Work closely with APAC Shared Service Centers to ensure smooth execution of HR administration and operational processes.

·         Support annual budgeting, forecasting, headcount management, and workforce planning activities.

·         Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics to support business decision-making.

·         Monitor key HR metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

PROFILE

Experience & Education

·         Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.

·         Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.

·         Experience in retail, luxury, fashion, FMCG, cosmetics, or other multinational consumer-facing industries is preferred.

·         Exposure to regional or multi-country HR environments is preferred

Professional Competencies

·         Solid HR generalist knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.

·         Sound understanding of labor law and HR compliance requirements.

·         Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.

·         Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Experience in budgeting, workforce planning, and HR reporting is preferred.
