About Our Client

A leading company in the manufacturer sector with global presence is seeking an accountant to support their fast-growing business

Job Description

Full set of accounting functions for the Hong Kong entity, including bookkeeping, journal entries, voucher processing, and month-end/year-end closing in compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards.
Hong Kong tax compliance matters, including Profits Tax, Salaries Tax, Stamp Duty, and other statutory filing requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities, supporting annual audits, statutory reviews, tax assessments, and compliance-related inquiries.
Prepare timely financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules, while assisting with group reporting and financial data consolidation.
Maintain accurate and organized accounting, tax, and audit records to ensure compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements.
Collaborate with finance and business teams across Hong Kong and Mainland China, including occasional travel to support reconciliations, cross-border projects, and operational coordination.
Handle independent English-language communications related to accounting, taxation, and business operations, liaising effectively with overseas stakeholders and external parties.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum experience in full-set accounting, with a strong understanding of Hong Kong accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
Solid knowledge of Hong Kong taxation, statutory compliance, annual audit processes, and regulatory filing obligations.
Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to independently manage professional accounting, tax, and business communications with external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to occasionally travel to Mainland China as required.
