About Our Client

A leadingHK-listed company is seeking an experienced (Senior) Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise-wide planning and forecasting, influence transformation initiatives, and gain broad exposure across Hong Kong and Mainland China operations.

Job Description

Partner closely with executive leadership, providing strategic financial insights, performance evaluations, and actionable recommendations to support key business decisions and long-term growth initiatives
Lead the Group's annual budgeting and rolling forecasting cycles, establishing planning frameworks, governance standards, and timelines that align with corporate objectives
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders throughout the budget planning process, facilitating reviews and ensuring alignment between financial targets and business priorities
Monitor financial performance, budget utilization, profitability, and key business metrics, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Deliver comprehensive variance analysis, trend reporting, and management insights that support strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational decision-making
Develop, maintain, and enhance financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis models to improve the quality and accuracy of management reporting
Drive continuous improvement through digitalization and automation initiatives, leveraging financial systems and analytics tools to strengthen planning efficiency, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision support across the organization

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, HKICPA preferred
6+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years background in FP&A, business partnering, commercial finance, or financial analysis within a sizeable organization
Proven track record in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, ideally gained within a listed company or multinational corporate environment
Knowledgeable of financial reporting standards (HKFRS/IFRS), corporate governance practices, and regulatory requirements applicable to Hong Kong-listed entities
Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with strong proficiency in Excel and SAP
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is highly preferred
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; able to travel regularly to Mainland China for business collaboration, performance reviews, and strategic planning activities
