CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER (AVP / VP) | CORPORATE & TRANSACTION BANKING | NEW BANK SET-UP | HONG KONG

Our Client, an established international bank with strong foundations in its home market, is expanding its presence in Hong Kong as part of its international growth strategy. Focused on corporate and transaction banking, the bank is building a lean, high-calibre team to support its continued growth.

As part of this expansion, our Client is seeking a Client Service Manager (AVP / VP) to join its Corporate Banking team. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, this role will play a pivotal part in establishing the bank's client servicing framework while delivering a best-in-class experience to its corporate and institutional clients.

During the bank's build phase, you will work closely with Relationship Managers, Operations, Compliance and other internal stakeholders to develop client service standards, service level agreements (SLAs), operational protocols and onboarding processes. You will help establish workflows and communication channels across departments, ensuring the bank is operationally ready to support clients from day one.

Following the bank's launch, you will serve as a key point of contact for corporate and institutional clients on day-to-day operational matters. Working alongside Relationship Managers, you will coordinate client onboarding, account maintenance, transaction enquiries and service requests across cash management, trade finance and other corporate banking products. You will act as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring timely issue resolution, effective communication and a consistently high standard of client service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing international bank at an early stage of its Hong Kong expansion, where you will have the opportunity to help shape the client servicing model, establish best practices and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in Client Service, Client Management, Corporate Banking Service, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance or Assistant Relationship Management within corporate, commercial or institutional banking. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of corporate banking products, client onboarding processes and operational workflows, together with the maturity and commercial awareness to manage relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.

While this is not a Relationship Manager role, we also welcome applications from experienced client-facing banking professionals who enjoy managing client relationships from an operational and service perspective rather than pursuing a traditional sales or business development career. Candidates from pure back-office operations backgrounds will be considered where they have demonstrated significant client-facing responsibilities and stakeholder management experience.

Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
