Project Nature:

(T26) This is a CSA position responsible for supporting and operating multiple centralised Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and data analytics related platforms. The position is required to manage the security, cloud resources, infrastructure and performance of the platforms to facilitate adoption by Government bureaux and departments (B/Ds) and ensure smooth operations of the platforms.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;
The successful applicant will be required:
- To work in team for the design, enhancement, testing, maintenance and administration of GenAI applications and data analytics related platforms.
- To assist his/her supervisors in managing contractors for supporting GenAI applications and data analytics related platforms.
- To provide technical support to Government B/Ds for the adoption of GenAI applications and data analytics related platforms
- To conduct research and analyses of the development of artificial intelligence and big data analytics related subjects.
- When necessary, the CSA is required to provide both technical and administrative support related to the project after normal office hours for special events, fire-fighting and urgent deployment of services, etc.
- To perform any other works as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of experience in AI and data analytics technologies, such as Gen AI and text/image/video analytics;
Have at least 1 year of experience on system development and deployment on clouds.
Preferably possess knowledge and experience on managing cloud resources in public cloud platform and Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS);
Possess solid knowledge and experience on installing and managing the following environment and tools:
- Linux
- Web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Python
- R programming
- SQL
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills;
Hard working and self-motivated with good working attitudes; and
Can work independently.

Technical Skills:

At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language;
At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management;
At least 1 year's experience in Data Management ;
1 year's experience in HTML5 is an advantage;
1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support is an advantage;
1 year's experience in business intelligence/data mining is an advantage;
1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

At least 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services;
At least 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management;
3 years' experience in vendor management is an advantage;
Good coordination skills is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
