Role Description

Independently manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL and fixed asset management for all business units.
Process journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and performing account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Prepare monthly management reporting packs, which include P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analysis for management review.
Assist in comparing actual financial performance against budgeted figures to help senior management understand business performance.
Assist with tax returns, statutory audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.
Manage credit control processes to ensure timely collections, minimize bad debts, and prepare aging report.
Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for accounting functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, company secretaries, and tax consultants to facilitate financial operations and ensure compliance.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.

Qualifications

Proficiency in general accounting tasks such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
Experience in preparing financial reports, budgets, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of accounting software and tools, especially Xero and Odoo.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Familiarity with F&B industry practices and regulations is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
