Position Summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited is expanding the retail banking business. To meet the increasing hiring demand, we are looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager to support our hiring efforts for Relationship Managers (RMs) and other sales positions across our retail branch network. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring our branches are staffed with top-tier wealth management and sales professionals who can drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the complete hiring process from initial sourcing and screening to final offer negotiation and onboarding.
Strategic Sourcing: Utilize different job board channels such as LinkedIn, job portals, industry networking, and headhunting techniques to build a robust pipeline of qualified Relationship Managers.
Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with Area Heads / Branch Managers to understand specific branch needs, local market dynamics, and team cultures.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates’ sales track records, knowledge of banking products (CASA, Insurance, Investments, etc.), and their ability to manage HNW/UHNW portfolios.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor movements, salary benchmarks, and talent trends within the retail banking sector.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a steady "bench" of talent to ensure quick turnaround times for branch vacancies.
Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, source quality, and offer acceptance rates

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a mandatory focus on Retail Banking.
Proven success in hiring Relationship Managers or similar sales roles within a banking environment.
An existing network of contacts within the retail banking industry is highly preferred.
Strong competency in competency-based interviewing and sales-profile assessment.
Exceptional negotiation and influential skills to "sell" the bank’s value proposition to passive candidates.
Candidates with recruitment search firm background will be an advantage.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) is a must.
Employment period: 12 months
