OFFICE OF FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Assistant Officer (Ref. 260114001-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide administrative support to academic programmes and research matters;

(b) provide secretarial support to committees, working groups and meetings;

(d) assist in organizing activities and events;

(e) supervise supporting staff of the Faculty Office; and

(f) perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognized degree with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience;

(b) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d) good communication, interpersonal and time management skills; and

(e) self-motivation and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Preference may be given to those with solid relevant experience gained in the tertiary education sector.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
