Responsibilities

Supervise a team of Accounting Officers to carry out a wide spectrum of accounting duties independently
Provide quality accounting services and financial advice to academic and administrative units
Compile budgets and prepare analysis comparing the budget with actual figures
Perform cost re‐charging in accordance with internal / external regulations
Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and compiling returns
Assist the supervisor(s) in process improvement and system enhancement
Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

A recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Accounting or related disciplines
A member of HKICPA/ACCA or other relevant professional bodies
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in one or more areas of accounting work
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with multi-tasking skills
Excellent PC skills in MS Office and a good knowledge of computerized accounting system
Experience in the higher education / public sector is preferred

The appointee will be assigned to work in the Tsuen Wan area.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity. The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years.
