Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

The Finance Manager is accountable for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s financial records and statutory reporting. This role leads the accounting function, ensures strong financial controls, and supports the business through disciplined financial governance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end‑to‑end accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and period‑end closing
Ensure accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end financial reporting, including review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and key accounting estimates
Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with HKFRS, regulatory requirements, and Swire group accounting policies
Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and oversee audit processes, internal controls, and adherence to financial governance standards
Partner with operations and commercial teams on accounting implications of business initiatives, contracts, and operational changes
Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while driving process improvements, system enhancements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit · Prior experience leading or supervising a team · Solid experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, and accounting operations. · Qualified Accountant (HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent).
Proficiency in written & spoken English and Chinese
Strong knowledge of HKFRS, statutory reporting and accounting controls
Solid hands‑on accounting capability with attention to detail
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or operationally complex environments is an advantage
Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
High integrity, ownership mindset, and sound professional judgment
Able to communicate clearly with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Good PC knowledge and skills, especially Excel
Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred
