Responsibilities
The appointees are expected to:

Lead the organization of internal/external events, academic seminar/conference and marketing/promotion activities
Provide a wide range of secretarial and administrative support to the Dean
Manage project-related tasks, including budget allocation, monitoring expenditures, providing progress updates, and overseeing project extensions
Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality research or grant proposals by conducting thorough research, collaborating with stakeholders, and aligning project objectives with funding opportunities
Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders related to the project, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives, and fostering strong partnerships to support project success
Establish a consolidated network of strategic Mainland partner institutions for research collaboration and student mobility in data science and related fields. Travel overseas will be required
Other administrative and strategic duties assigned by the Dean

Requirements

A recognized Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in the tertiary education sector. The candidate should have at least four years of relevant working experience
An excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling written materials, including proposals, reports, and presentations. Proficiency in adapting writing style to suit various purposes
Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of responsibility
Proactive mindset and strong analytical ability to carry out duties independently and efficiently with minimum supervision

Salary and Benefits
The commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
