The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life of students.

Responsibilities

To render support to the implementation of the policies on student activities, and to various student-led activities such as new student orientation
To assist in the administration of venue booking and logistics for student events
To render support to the formation and registration of student societies
To assist the supervisors in organising student training workshops and managing student helpers
To manage the day-to-day operation of the student amenities including the Learning Commons and other student activity spaces
To promote the student development award schemes and other training and learning opportunities for student leaders
To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
To work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as required

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
A good command of written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
A high proficiency in general computer applications
A strong mastery of organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
A high calibre to carry out duties independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
A keen interest in working with young adults
Experience in managing student societies and amenities in universities/ NGOs is an advantage

Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
