Compliance Officer / Business Support Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer / Business Support Officer to join our team in Hong Kong.

This role combines compliance oversight with business support responsibilities, ensuring that organizational operations adhere to regulatory requirements while providing administrative and operational support to business functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance standards, supporting internal processes, and contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks and controls.
Conduct compliance reviews, checks, and documentation updates.
Monitor regulatory developments and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
Assist in preparing compliance reports and maintaining compliance records.
Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance-related projects.
Help investigate and escalate compliance concerns where appropriate.

Business Support Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to various business functions.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business documentation.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
Assist with process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
Support day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of compliance principles and business operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in compliance, administration, operations, business support, or a related role is preferred.
Knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory and compliance requirements is an advantage.
Experience in financial services, professional services, corporate environments, or regulated industries is beneficial.
Professional certifications related to compliance, risk management, or governance are a plus.
