We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Temporary Research Assistant II (N&HS) (Ref: 26000LA)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist Principal Investigator in the research projects related to health economics. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

Coordinating the project logistics with the project team members;
Designing and developing discrete choice electronic surveys, posters, and PowerPoint;
Recruiting participants and conducting group activities, focus group and in-depth interviews;
Performing data entry for qualitative and quantitative data; and
Providing research-related assistance.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in social sciences or related disciplines;
Strong command of written Traditional Chinese and spoken Cantonese;
Proficiency in typing Traditional Chinese and English is a must;
Proficient in Canvas and Qualtrics; Proficient in R and STATA will be an advantage;
Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, able to work independently; and
Willingness to work outside during weekdays and weekends, if needed.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract for 3-6 months (for Temporary Research Assistant II). Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
