The Opportunity

Our client is a prominent Health & Lifestyle brand with a rapidly expanding retail footprint in Hong Kong. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Officer (Focus more on reporting) and Accounting Clerk (More on operation side) to manage the core financial operations for their HK retail division.

The Mandate: Retail Operational Excellence

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial health of the HK retail operations. Your focus will be on precision, liquidity, and timely month-end execution.

Core Financial Operations: Lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles, ensuring all retail transactions and vendor payments are captured accurately.
Month-End Mastery: Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliations and the preparation of essential financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheets).
Treasury & Cash Flow: Monitor daily cash positions and funding requirements to ensure the retail outlets maintain optimal liquidity for seamless operations.
Audit & Tax Readiness: Support the annual audit process and tax filings, acting as a reliable point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Internal Controls: Maintain meticulous accounting records and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal SOPs to safeguard company assets.

The Profile

Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Accountancy; HKICPA/ACCA student members are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of solid accounting experience. Candidates from Retail, FMCG, or Healthcare backgrounds will have a distinct advantage.
Attributes: High level of accuracy, ability to handle high-volume transactions, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
