How you will make an impact:
We are seeking an analytical, fast-paced professional to join our HR team as Assistant Manager, HR (Compensation and Benefits). In this dynamic role, you will manage daily Compensation and Benefits (C&B) operations for a large-scale workforce, overseeing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for our frontline employees. Leveraging your advanced Excel skills and data-driven approach, you will also play a key role in driving HRIS integration projects, optimizing processes, and advancing employee wellness programmes.
- Manage Payroll & Payments: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume, complex employee base, including monthly runs, final payments, tax filings, and related reporting to ensure absolute accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer Benefits & Wellness: Manage employee benefit programmes (medical, life, retirement), liaise with vendors to monitor service levels, and actively support company-wide wellness initiatives.
- Drive Rewards & Compensation Strategy: Conduct salary benchmarking, job grading, and pay-structure reviews. Utilise advanced Excel skills to produce cost analyses and modelling that support budgeting and remuneration proposals.
- Ensure Governance & Compliance: Develop and maintain C&B policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the company and full compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Optimise HRIS & Data Management: Support HRIS and payroll systems to maintain strict data integrity. Actively participate in system implementations and integrations, including testing, data validation, and generating comprehensive C&B reports.
- Spearhead Process Improvement: Continuously streamline C&B and payroll processes to enhance operonal efficiency and strengthen internal controls within a fast-paced environment.
- Lead Projects & Analytics: Support strategic C&B projects and confidently handle ad-hoc compensation requests, investigations, and special assignments as required.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in HR, with a focus on compensation and benefits; prior experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage payroll and C&B operations for an extensive frontline workforce in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Highly proficient in MS applications, with advanced Excel skills (essential for complex data analysis, modelling, and reporting).
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and relevant regulations.
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to details, and ability to perform multi-tasks.
- Independent, flexible, and results-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating absolute diplomacy and professionalism.
- Previous experience in SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage.
