About The Role
- Assist residents to link to support services whilst encouraging independence and choice.
- Plan, lead and participate in projects related to resident well-being.
- Encourage programs which help promote health, wellbeing and the active lives of residents.
- Consult with residents and their representatives to identify and develop strategies to deal with concerns.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure residents are supported as their needs change.
- Respond to resident duress calls where required during office hours, acting as required and record actions taken.
About You
- Understanding of Active Ageing and history of applying this to previous roles.
- Demonstrated ability to assess residents’ care and well-being requirements and to prioritise effectively.
- Experience in conflict resolution and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of issues related to Aged Care with appropriate advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- National "C" Class Driver’s Licence.
