Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the financial management and reporting functions within the Accounting & Finance department. • Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives in the life science industry. • Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. • Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize business performance. • Leading internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial records. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives in Hong Kong and beyond. • Providing leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering professional development. The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA). • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards relevant to the life science industry. • Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decisions. • Leadership capabilities to effectively manage and inspire a finance team. • Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline processes. • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
