Role Summary

You will lead the Vietnam office, driving operational excellence, strategic leadership, and continuous improvement across all business functions. This high-impact role requires a strong manufacturing mindset, proven leadership capability, and a passion for building teams that deliver exceptional results.
You will oversee daily operations, strengthen manufacturing systems, ensure compliance with international and local standards, and foster collaboration between regional and global teams. Your leadership will be central to maintaining the company’s reputation for quality, efficiency, and ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy for Vietnam, aligning business performance with global and regional objectives.
Strengthen manufacturing processes, operational controls, and production efficiency across all regional sites.
Ensure full compliance with local regulatory and international quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams committed to operational success and continuous improvement.
Conduct risk assessments and operational audits, addressing issues proactively and implementing corrective actions promptly.
Partner with supply chain, product development, and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient production flows.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and vendors to uphold ethical and compliant operations.
Manage overall office operations in Vietnam to ensure effective coordination across all business units.

Ideal Candidates

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years work experience in manufacturing/trading/sourcing/buying offices, of which 5+ years progressive experience in US/MNC toys companies
Exposure to manufacturing, sourcing, or operations management, preferably within a multinational environment.
Proven ability to lead and grow operational teams in complex, fast-paced settings.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing frameworks, including quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001), production optimization, and labor law compliance.
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a track record of influencing diverse stakeholders.
Good command of written and spoken English
Cantonese/Mandarin/Vietnamese speaking is a plus
Vietnam experience is highly advantageous, though not mandatory.
Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam to oversee multiple manufacturing facilities.
