ACCOUNTANT - garment trading (TST East / 5 days work)

We are a Hong Kong–headquartered garment trading company engaged in apparel sourcing and end‑to‑end supply chain management for international fashion brands and retailers, covering design, product development, sourcing, production follow‑up, quality assurance and logistics.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working within a Finance team of 5, you will handle the full set of accounts for the garment trading business.
You will manage daily accounting operations, cash flow, L/C and T/R arrangements, and support audit and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management.

Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts for the garment trading business.
Arrange L/C and T/R loans and liaise with banks on related matters.
Manage general expenses payments, staff reimbursements and petty cash.
Perform cash flow planning and monitoring, including forecasts and bank loan repayments.
Coordinate and support year‑end audit and preparation of audit schedules.
Work closely with the trading/merchandising team on billing, costing and related issues.
Prepare ad hoc reports and assist in finance projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidates

Tertiary educated in Accounting or related discipline.
At least 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to trading or similar businesses.
Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
Experience in handling L/C and T/R loans is preferred.
Proactive, hands‑on, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and common accounting systems.
Good interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
Proficient in English and Chinese.
