About the team:
The Hong Kong Human Resources Section is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across the Hong Kong office.
Role requirements:
- Drive people agenda for designated businesses / departments, ensuring resourcing effectiveness and providing HR advices on workforce planning, organization development, talent management, succession planning, performance and rewards management, employee relations and any other HR matters.
- Facilitate line managers to drive culture transformation and enhance employee engagement.
- Lead a HRBP team to facilitate and advise line managers on talent acquisition, talent management and retention issues.
- Streamline HR processes to gain operational efficiency and handle any assigned HR projects or initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the job holder will partner with line managers to translate business strategy into people strategy, advise managers on HR best practices and solutions for manpower planning, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, resourcing matters, talent development, employee relations, performance and reward management as well as compliance of all HR matters.
Acting as a change agent, he or she will also support Head of HR to drive HR transformation, support business managers to drive culture transformation, and provide coaching to team members.
Competencies:
- We are looking for an individual who has solid experience as an HRBP team lead;
- He/she has strong influencing skills, relationship management and stakeholder management skills;
- He/she has strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills;
- He/she is an excellent team player and has an innovative spirit;
- The individual should put into practice Mizuho’s mission, vision, values, and clearly delivers them to the team;
- The individual respects for and commits to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations/ reporting, etc.
Work experience, education and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines;
- At least 12-15 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably from the banking industry;
- Relevant experience in leading a small HRBP team and handling recruitment activities;
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
