Position Overview
We are seeking an Accountant to manage the full set of accounts and month-end closing process and maintain accurate financial records. This position is integral in ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company policies, assisting with budgeting activities, and contributing to project work and audits to uphold the integrity and reliability of all financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts and oversee month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and reliable accounting records for monthly financial reporting.
- Validate AP and AR transactions and provide audit support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Input and analyse accounting data to maintain accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.
- Liaise with both internal and external auditors as required.
- Support ad-hoc assignments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in trading firms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP systems.
