Job Purpose

The role is responsible to drive the luxury brand and business in HK & Macau. He/she represents the face of the brand, ensures that the highest standards of service excellence are followed and that all business objectives are exceeded. He/she must manage the Ralph Lauren Store Managers in HK & Macau to ensure consistent performance and brand positioning. He/she should create a selling culture that sets the highest standards of customer service in the market.

Key Responsibilities

SUSTAINABLE PROFITABLE GROWTH

Directly responsible for sales and profit performance of our lux stores across HK & Macau. Monitor and drive sales and KPI growth daily
Conduct touchbase meetings with Store Managers on a weekly basis
Partner closely with the Country Merchant to identify items of profit potential or liability and manage product flow in and out of stores
Share best practices with Operations Manager to identify potential improvements in store operations to maximize the department's performance
Foster strong and cooperative relationship with business partners e.g. management team of department stores and landlords
Support Senior Director, Retail in his/her strategies/initiatives as well as the company’s goals
Create calendar of store visit schedule for review with Senior Director, Retail Management
Leverage best practices across all lux stores to drive sales and KPI performance

BRAND ELEVATION

Continuously model, train, coach and foster an environment where service excellence values are a top priority
Ensure consistent presentation standards are met, through partnership with CS, CP, VM teams in planning and execution of store changeovers and season launches.
Actively monitor store led CIEM/CRM initiatives
Identify brand elevation opportunities through local marketing and PR
Exhibit pride through positive demeanor, body language and personal presentation
Partner with PR/Marketing to create a calendar of events

TALENT OPTIMIZATION

Assist in the recruitment, selection, training of staff for new store openings as well as existing stores. Review OTH with P&D on a monthly basis
Foster an environment where service excellence values are a top priority through partnership with Training and P&D department
Provide tools to Store Managers for continuous training. (ex. Interviewing skills)
Leverage the store visit checklist, ensure the huddle forms are being used and monitor 5 C’s usage in the stores
Take a proactive approach to self-development and actively give/receive feedback through one-on-ones and coaching

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above
Minimum 8-10 years of retail multi-store management experience, with at least 5 year within a high-volume luxury retail environment
Strong business acumen
Developed communication and inter-personal skills
Proven sales management experience
Good customer-oriented sense
Fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Basic knowledge of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
