Founded in 1984, Smith sources, manages, and distributes the electronic components that go into everything from mobile phones and computers to appliances and automobiles. We buy and sell components 24 hours per day, with global sales of USD $6 billion in 2026 and in excess of USD $16 billion over the last five years.

What will you do?

Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial, sales, and procurement related contracts (i.e., terms and conditions of sale and purchase, non-disclosure agreements, framework, and quality agreements, etc.)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are aligned with company policies and business objectives
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of contract versions, approvals, and execution status
Provide guidance to business teams on contract interpretation and obligations
Support process improvements in contract management and negotiation workflows
Assist in developing contract templates, playbooks, and best practices for contract drafting and negotiation

Detail‑oriented, organized, and with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels within an organization and across various jurisdictions
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and Mandarin
Proficiency in MS Office, experience with contract management systems is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, or a related field
3–5 years’ experience in contract negotiation, preferably with in house experience
Experience with contract management systems is an advantage
