We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activities across Hong Kong and Mainland China. This role is responsible for partnering with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to attract, engage and hire top talent while ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, leveraging data and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions, and driving continuous improvement in recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple business lines and functions.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
Provide market intelligence, compensation insights and talent availability trends to support hiring decisions.
Facilitate candidate screening, interviews, offer management and onboarding activities.
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners and external recruitment partners.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on recruitment best practices and market conditions.
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive and active talent.
Conduct talent mapping and market research for critical and niche positions.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals and other sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates.
Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
Prepare regular recruitment reports, dashboards and hiring metrics.
Ensure recruitment data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and processes.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools and candidate experience.
Leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance recruitment effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Approximately 5-8 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience gained from either in-house, agency or a combination of both environments. Prior experience within the engineering, construction, infrastructure, environmental consulting, or professional services industries is an advantage.
Proven experience recruiting professional, technical or specialised talent.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Experience in sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines.
Familiarity with recruitment reporting, analytics and applicant tracking systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
