The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.

We are seeking for a dynamic, high-caliber and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Support the full spectrum of HR services including recruitment, performance management, and other HR-related functions;
Assist in compensation and benefits-related processes, including insurance benefit renewal process, annual pay trend review, and promotion exercises;
Manage staff cases, including employee relations and case management, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes;
Support supervisors in the formulation, review and implementation of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, statutory requirements and best practices;
Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to team members to build capability and sustain high performance;
Prepare HR reports, analytics and system-generated data to support HR operations and decision making;
Assist with ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

University graduate or equivalent, preferably in the related disciplines;
A minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, preferably gained from sizable organisations. The ideal candidate should have broad exposure across multiple HR functions, including compensation & benefits management, performance management and employee relations;
Hands-on exposure to HRIS platforms supporting core HR processes;
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with different levels of employees;
Strong work ethics with high degree of integrity;
Service-oriented, attentive to details with a “can-do” attitude;
Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
