They're looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to become a core technical architect within their trading infrastructure team—someone who can design and scale the systems that power billions in daily trading execution.

You will own the systems that connect research to execution. Working closely with quantitative traders and infrastructure specialists, you'll architect robust, low-latency platforms; design for resilience and fault tolerance; and optimize for the tight performance windows that define competitive advantage in electronic trading. This is a role where your decisions have immediate, measurable impact on business performance and operational reliability.

Core Responsibilities

Design and implement production systems in Python that execute and monitor quantitative trading strategies at scale
Take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure architecture—servers, deployments, monitoring, alerting—ensuring systems are hardened, observable, and operationally sound
Partner with traders and researchers to translate quantitative ideas into scalable, performant technical solutions
Build diagnostic and debugging tools that enable rapid problem identification and root-cause analysis in both application and systems layers
Manage live production dependencies, integrations, and data pipelines—keeping systems responsive and data fresh under real-time pressure
Drive iterative improvements to platform stability, performance, and maintainability based on operational insight

Your Profile

Deep, practical expertise in Python and Linux; demonstrated ability to write production code under performance constraints
Proven debugging capability across multiple layers—application logic, system calls, network behavior, resource contention
Disciplined engineering judgment: you can articulate trade-offs between speed of delivery, code clarity, maintainability, and runtime performance
Ownership mentality and resilience—you drive problems to resolution and take accountability for system health
Capability to prioritize independently across competing demands and adapt when context shifts rapidly
Operational discipline—reliability and predictability matter; you show up for your team and the business
Genuine curiosity about markets, trading technology, and how systems behave under real-world stress. You're energized by learning a complex domain
Background with C++ or SQL is valuable; experience in electronic trading, distributed systems, or low-latency platforms is a significant plus
