Job Summary — Business Development Manager, Enterprise Greenfield
As a Business Development Manager, Enterprise Greenfield, you will own and nurture a portfolio of large enterprise and ISV customers in Hong Kong's greenfield territory — driving cloud adoption, deepening relationships, and growing revenue within accounts that are early in their AWS journey.
While the primary focus is account nurturing and growth, you will also have the mandate to hunt for new large enterprise opportunities — identifying and landing untapped logos that fit the strategic account profile.
Key job responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Nurture & grow existing strategic accounts by developing trusted advisor relationships, identifying new workloads, and driving consumption growth across AWS services
- Support customers' AI adoption journey — help enterprises navigate their generative AI and machine learning strategies, connecting them with relevant AWS AI/ML services and use cases that drive business value
- Build account plans aligned to customer business priorities, digital transformation roadmaps, and cloud adoption milestones
- Work cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Specialist Sales, Professional Services, Partner teams, and other internal stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes and accelerate adoption
- Collaborate across teams — engage with industry vertical leads, marketing, and ecosystem partners to develop joint go-to-market motions and unlock new opportunities within the territory. Participate in events — represent AWS at industry conferences, trade shows, customer roundtables, workshops, and executive briefings to build pipeline and strengthen customer engagement

- Experience in technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud computing such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
- - Mandarin proficiency (for engaging with China-headquartered enterprises in HK) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales professional with a proven track record of success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises within Financial Services
- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations experience
- Master's degree or above in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- - Experience with event-led demand generation (hosting workshops, speaking at conferences, executive roundtables)
