Job Overview
As a Project Analyst (2-year contract), you will play a key technical and operational role in supporting the group-wide rollout of HRIS transformation (SAP SuccessFactors implementation across Swire Hotels in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland). Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will bridge functional P&C needs with data management, system configuration, testing, and process automation. You will leverage data tools and automation scripts to streamline workflows, manage data migration activities, and ensure seamless delivery across all hotel business units.
Key Responsibilities

Here’s the quick lowdown on what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Project Support & Delivery: Assist the Project Manager in tracking project milestones, managing task lists, organizing requirement workshops and training sessions, and coordinating with the implementation partner and local hotel P&C key users.
- Data Migration & Cleansing: Coordinate and execute data extraction, transformation, and validation from legacy systems (PeopleSoft, Shiji, etc.) into SAP SuccessFactors data templates.
- Process Automation & Analytics: Build custom automation flows, data transformation models, and reporting utilities using Power Query, Excel VBA, and Power Automate to streamline existing operational workflows.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), draft test scripts, log defects in tracking tools, and follow up with technical teams for resolution.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain centralized project documentation, update baseline documents, and prepare regular project status slides for management updates.
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required
Requirements
Here’s exactly what you need to excel in this role:
The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related discipline with 2–4 years of experience in HRIS transformation projects or HRIS administration.
- Candidates with more experience and strong leadership potential will be considered for the Assistant Project Manager position.
- SuccessFactors Experience: Hands-on experience participating in or supporting SAP SuccessFactors implementations or system administration (e.g. Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, etc).
Technical & Automation Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and VBA macro development for complex data cleansing and automated report generation.
- Hands-on experience building workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate.
HR Processes:
- Strong foundational understanding of key People & Culture / HR processes including talent acquisition, core employee lifecycle, performance management, and compensation, etc.
Soft skills and language requirement:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong plus.
The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):
- SuccessFactors Configuration: Technical familiarity with backend configuration, Metadata Framework (MDF), Business Rules, or Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
- Change Management: Experience supporting change enablement, user communications, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Employment Legislation: Good understanding of local employment ordinances and statutory requirements in Hong Kong and/or Chinese Mainland (e.g., HK Labor Ordinance Cap. 57, MPF, PIPL).
- Certifications: PMP, Agile/Scrum Master, or SAP SuccessFactors Associate Certifications are an advantage.
