Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver remuneration and total rewards initiatives, including executive compensation, compensation planning, salary structure review, incentive design and market benchmarking.
- Drive the design, implementation and governance of short-term and long-term incentive, equity and retention programmes to support business and talent strategies.
- Manage annual compensation review processes, salary review cycles, bonus governance and reward-related budgeting activities.
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking studies and reward analytics to support competitive and data-driven compensation decisions.
- Advise HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits policies, reward frameworks, executive pay matters and workforce retention strategies.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, Tax and Payroll to ensure effective implementation of reward programmes and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support executive management and senior stakeholders through scenario modelling, reward cost analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to compensation and benefits due diligence, HR integration and retention planning activities arising from mergers, acquisitions and organisational transformation initiatives.
- Ensure strong governance and consistency of reward practices across the organization while addressing local market requirements.
- Monitor market trends, emerging compensation practices and regulatory developments to enhance the effectiveness of total rewards programmes.
Requirements
- Degree holder with 8-10 years' experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards or Executive Compensation within multinational corporations, consulting firms or regional organizations.
- Solid knowledge of compensation strategy, market benchmarking, salary structure design, incentive programmes and total rewards governance.
- Hands-on experience in designing and administering short-term and long-term incentive, equity compensation, retention and executive reward programmes.
- Experience supporting senior leadership, HR executives, Remuneration Committees or Board-level reward discussions is highly desirable.
- Exposure to regional or global compensation programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience in rewards integration, retention planning or compensation due diligence would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical and modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence HR leaders, business executives and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and compensation analytics tools.
- Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CCP, GRP) will be an advantage.
- Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
