Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to drive comprehensive HR initiatives for our Hong Kong operations at Omni Logistics. This role will partner closely with regional and local leadership to align people strategies with business goals, manage end-to-end HR operations, and foster a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will be comfortable supporting a large, labor-intensive frontline workforce and will bring strong critical thinking to proactively enhance HR processes and elevate the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment & Business Partnership

Collaborate with regional leadership to understand business goals and translate them into actionable HR strategies.
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive HR plans that support the business's short- and long-term objectives in Hong Kong.
Drive the overall HR agenda, ensuring it reflects the needs of the business while adhering to corporate guidelines and local labor laws.

Consulting & Coaching

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and executives, providing expert HR guidance on organizational design, talent management, and change management.
Offer one-on-one coaching to business leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities, improve team performance, and resolve complex employee relations issues.

Culture & Employee Engagement

Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
Design and drive initiatives with trackable metrics that demonstrably enhance the overall employee experience, recognition, and well-being.
Lead succession planning, talent reviews, and learning & development programs to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.

HR Operations & Compliance

Manage full-cycle HR operations including recruitment, compensation & benefits, and performance management for the Hong Kong office.
Establish and improve local HR Governance to ensure strict compliance, consistency in practice, and alignment with corporate standards and Hong Kong employment ordinances.
Stay abreast of market trends and proactively evaluate and enhance HR processes to boost team efficiency and elevate the overall employee experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Business Partner or similar strategic role, preferably in a multinational or regional capacity.
Track record of successfully designing and delivering initiatives that measurably improve employee experience and engagement.
Experience in Logistics Industry is an advantage.
Proven experience working in a labor-intensive industry, with a high comfort level managing and supporting a large headcount of frontline staff.
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR strategy to business results.
Proven consulting and coaching skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws and HR best practices.
Demonstrated ability to audit, streamline, and enhance HR processes and HR Governance frameworks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities, with the ability to adopt and tailor HR best practices as practical solutions to diverse business issues.
Strong technical proficiency in HR systems; hands-on experience and knowledge of Oracle and other modern HRIS platforms is required.
High level of agility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
