About the Role
Overall Scope & Purpose
Lead the Global Corporate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) function and serve as a trusted adviser to the Global Leadership Team and senior leaders. Translate business priorities into practical people and organisation strategies, strengthen HRBP capability and consistency across Lee Kum Kee Sauce, and work with HR Centres of Excellence and local HR teams to deliver commercially relevant and locally compliant solutions.

Responsible for: Global Corporate functions
Key Interfaces: Global Leadership Team; senior business and functional leaders; HR Centres of Excellence; HR Shared Services (SSC) and HRIS teams; Zone and plant HR teams; Legal and Risk.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with the Global Management Team and senior business and functional leaders, providing clear, practical and forward-looking people advice.
- Understand business priorities and operating challenges, constructively challenge assumptions and translate them into people, organisation and capability plans.
- Lead HR support for corporate functions and evolving organisational scope, while ensuring effective partnership across global businesses and regions.
Organisation, Workforce & Change
- Advise leaders on organisation design, workforce planning, operating models, role clarity and critical capability requirements.
- Lead the people agenda for major change and transformation, anticipating organisational risks and developing practical options for senior management decision-making.
Talent, Leadership & Performance
- Drive leadership and talent reviews, succession planning, critical-role pipelines and development actions in partnership with Talent and other HR Centres of Excellence.
- Coach leaders in building high-performing, inclusive teams through effective performance management, leadership development and data-informed people decisions.
HRBP Operating Model & Team Leadership
- Define and embed clear standards for stakeholder management, problem diagnosis, solution design and execution follow-through across the HRBP function.
- Lead, coach and develop the global corporate HRBP team, building stronger commercial awareness, cross-cultural effectiveness and confidence in advising senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate dotted-line HRBP and plant HR teams, and clarify ways of working with Centres of Excellence and HR operations, to ensure consistent and locally relevant delivery.
Governance, Culture & Employee Matters
- Ensure people decisions and HR practices align with our values, policies, governance standards and applicable employment requirements.
- Advise on sensitive employee matters and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and respect.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Human Resources or a related discipline; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years at senior HR business partnering or HR leadership level in a complex, multi-market organisation.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior executives and participating in organisation-level or regional-level design and business decisions.
- Proven experience in organisation change, workforce planning, talent and succession, leadership development and complex employee matters.
- Experience leading or coordinating HR teams across multiple markets or business units; prior exposure to international markets and/or regional headquarters is higly desirable.
- Experience in a consumer-facing organisation with integrated R&D, manufacturing and commercial operations is highly relevant.
