Job Description

Act as the Fixed Income Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting client reviews, investment presentations, and new mandate pitches.
Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends, monetary policy, credit fundamentals, and market developments to identify attractive investment opportunities.
Manage and monitor fixed income portfolios across government bonds, credit bonds, money market instruments, convertible bonds, and other fixed income products.
Formulate investment strategies and make portfolio allocation recommendations, including duration, leverage, and sector positioning adjustments.
Perform portfolio performance analysis, attribution reviews, and ongoing risk monitoring to ensure investment objectives are achieved.
Execute investment transactions and maintain close coverage of market developments and trading opportunities.
Prepare investment reports, market commentaries, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and external clients.
Ensure all investment activities comply with internal investment guidelines, fund mandates, and regulatory requirements.
Support new product development, business expansion initiatives, and enhancement of existing investment products.
Undertake other duties as assigned by senior management.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in fixed income investing and portfolio management.
Demonstrated experience managing fixed income portfolios and generating investment ideas across multiple fixed income sectors.
Strong understanding of macroeconomics, credit analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, and financial modelling tools.
CFA Charterholder or progress toward the CFA designation is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
Self-motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
