We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in theSchool of Education and Languages:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the Project Team for the project “AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding – School Support”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

Assisting in developing, editing lesson plans, integrating AI and interactive platform in Chinese Language education, English Language education or Mathematics education, Science education;
Assisting in developing teaching and learning materials, test items and learning videos;
Assisting in testing classroom AI technology;
Exploring different AI tools for learning and teaching;
Performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis; and
Providing research-related assistance.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education programme recognised by the Education Bureau in Chinese Language Education, English Language Education or Mathematics Education; or a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Chinese Language, English Language or Mathematics, or a related discipline, is preferred. Graduates are also welcome to apply;
Attained Level 4 or above in English Language, Chinese Language or Mathematics in the HKDSE Examination, or equivalent;
Practical teaching experience in a local secondary or primary school setting. It is preferable if applicants can provide supporting documents, such as a complete lesson plan, a copy of the mentor’s report and lesson observation report;
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
Preferably with knowledge in AI in education;
Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, attention to details, and a positive attitude;
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
Able to meet deadlines and work independently.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
