Your New Role

We're looking for a versatile and curious Creative Designer (Motion & Digital) to join CNN Create's award-winning branded content team.

Working closely with the Creative Director, you'll help craft engaging visual experiences across digital articles, motion graphics, social content, and integrated branded campaigns. You'll bring strong design thinking, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through design and animation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid weight designer looking to broaden their motion and digital expertise while contributing to global campaigns. You'll be encouraged to build new skills, explore emerging creative tools, and grow within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Your Role Accountabilities

Design engaging digital articles and branded content experiences across CNN.com and social platforms, while delivering high-quality social media assets across multiple platforms and formats.
Create motion graphics for live-action films, social media content, and digital campaigns, maintaining consistency across digital, motion, and social deliverables.
Produce storyboards, style frames, visual concepts, presentation assets, and other creative development materials that support the delivery of work aligned with CNN Create's creative standards and quality expectations.
Independently coordinate smaller 2D animation projects from concept through to final delivery, while supporting larger campaigns alongside the wider creative team.
Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, and Editors to deliver high-quality branded content that aligns with CNN Create's creative standards.
Prepare production-ready assets, coordinate assigned projects efficiently, and ensure all work is delivered accurately, consistently, and on schedule.
Stay curious about new creative technologies, workflows, and design trends, continuously developing your craft while contributing positively to a collaborative and creative team culture.

Qualifications & Experience

Approximately 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in a digital design, motion design, or multidisciplinary creative role, ideally gained within a brand studio, creative agency, or production environment.
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design thinking across digital, branding, and motion projects, supported by a good understanding of typography, layout, composition, visual storytelling, animation principles, and motion design workflows.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with familiarity with Figma and other creative tools.
Experience creating assets for digital publishing and social platforms.
Interest in AI-powered creative tools and emerging design technologies, combined with a willingness to continuously learn and develop new creative skills.

Additional Information

Based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
Occasional collaboration outside standard local working hours may be required to support global campaigns and stakeholders.
Opportunity to work on award-winning branded content campaigns for international clients.
Ongoing learning and development is encouraged across motion design, digital design, and emerging creative technologies.
