Job Summary

Sales Executive for Protective Packaging Products is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share within target industries. This role focuses on selling and promoting protective packaging solutions such as foam, air, paper cushioning and void materials, and custom packaging systems across sectors including electronics, industrial, retail, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute a strategic sales and business development plan to achieve revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned markets or territories.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
Expand product penetration within existing accounts and acquire new key customers.

Customer Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams.
Understand customer packaging requirements and provide tailored protective packaging solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor by recommending cost-effective and sustainable packaging options.

Sales & Solution Development

Present and demonstrate protective packaging products, including custom-designed solutions.
Collaborate with technical, design, and operations teams to develop customized packaging proposals.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.

Product & Technical Knowledge

Maintain deep knowledge of protective packaging materials such as:
- Foam (EPE, PU, EVA)
- Corrugated solutions
- Air cushioning systems
- Stretch films and wraps
Stay updated on new product developments, sustainability trends, and industry best practices.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work

Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with design engineers for packaging optimization and testing.

Reporting & Forecasting

Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline and forecast reports.
Track sales performance against targets and provide regular updates to management.

Key Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, Packaging Technology, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in B2B sales/business development, ideally in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial products.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies

Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to understand technical packaging requirements and propose solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strategic thinking with strong analytical abilities.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred)

Experience in protective packaging or related industries (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, electronics).
Knowledge of sustainable packaging solutions and regulatory requirements.

New customer acquisition
Customer retention and account growth
Pipeline development and conversion rate
Margin improvement and deal profitability

Working Conditions

Frequent client visits and business travel within assigned territory
