Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership: Drive the creative direction for large-scale commercial, retail, and mixed-use interior projects from inception to completion. Seamlessly integrate global trend insights and placemaking strategies into compelling spatial environments.

Client Engagement & Pitching: Act as the primary design placeholder and story-teller in high-profile client presentations. Establish, manage, and maximize long-term relationships with top-tier developers and stakeholders.

Team Mentorship & Management: Lead, inspire, and manage an interior design team. Foster a collaborative studio environment that encourages innovation, and proactively mentor junior-to-mid-level designers to achieve their full professional potential.

End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards of design excellence, technical execution, material specification, and on-site build quality.

Commercial Astuteness: Collaborate with senior management on fee proposals, bid preparations, project resourcing, and financial tracking to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

12+ years of professional experience in internationally renowned design practices with at least 5 years in a solid leadership/studio management role.

Portfolio Standards: A proven track record and an outstanding portfolio showcasing successfully delivered/built large-scale mixed-use, commercial retail, or hospitality destinations.

Technical Skills: Strong conceptual execution, spatial planning skills, and a solid understanding of building codes, materials, and construction details. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino.

Soft Skills: Highly commercial astute, compelling presenter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive under dynamic project paces.

Language Proficiency: Exceptional bilingual communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin (professional working proficiency is required).
