Senior Technical Services Manager

Responsibilities

Provide support to Assistant General Manager & General Manager, in leading and supervising Technical Services Team to render professional engineering support for ensuring all buildings and technical Services systems of AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) are in their best operating condition and at a high degree of quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness and meet all relevant legislation and regulations.
Assist in planning and devising strategies, works plans and processes to upkeep, maintain, replace and upgrade buildings and technical services systems of AWE in a timely and cost-effective manner without compromising AWE’s event and venue operation.
Explore, recommend and implement new initiatives for enhancing the performance of all building systems and facilities, as well as event systems and equipment towards smart and green with reference to the latest technologies, energy efficiency best practices and emerging sustainability trends.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, replacement, integration, and strategic development of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with a primary focus on Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This includes comprehensive cabling infrastructure and key sub-systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Public Address (PA) systems, walkie-talkie communications, and Car Parking Management Systems. Ensure optimal performance, high reliability, full compliance with relevant building codes, statutory requirements, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
Assist in formulating contracting and tendering strategy on outsourcing respective building facilities systems. Devise KPI and guidelines in assuring the delivery of quality performance from outsourcing contractors.
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, rules, regulations, manuals and guidelines to govern and guide the Facilities Management Team as well as the outsourcing contractors to observe and follow for delivery of safe and professional facilities maintenance and event technical support works.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required to support events.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, information systems or a related technical field (Preferable in Building Services, Electronics & Electrical Installation).
At least 12 years of experience in facilities management systems, building services, or a related industry with 3 years in managerial level.
Extensive technical background in managing MEP, BMS, CCTV, ACS, Digital Mobile Radio (TMR), Car Park Management System, Public Announcement (PA), IoT-based ELV systems supporting facilities, and venue operations.
Demonstrated expertise in the review, vetting, technical comment, and handover (taking-over) of new building developments and pre-management projects.
Demonstrated knowledge in smart building technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable best practices
Proficient in interpreting and applying relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Passionate about sustainability and driving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
