The Commercial Development Executive / Assistant Manager is a revenue‑driven role responsible for supporting and executing commercial growth initiatives across both Hotel and PBSA (Purpose‑Built Student Accommodation) portfolios.

This is a hands‑on, results‑oriented position for an individual with strong hospitality background, and proven ability to acquire new business. The role requires close collaboration and support with internal teams across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Revenue Management, while independently managing pipelines, accounts, and KPIs.

Candidates with stronger experience and performance track record may be considered at Assistant Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

Support and execute commercial development initiatives across both Hotel and PBSA portfolios, covering corporate, MICE, travel trade, long-stay, university and education-related segments.
Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with a strong development and hunter mindset.
Build and manage sales pipelines, maintain accurate CRM records, and work towards clearly defined revenue and KPI targets.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, contracts, and commercial reports.
Work closely and collaboratively with internal teams including Operations, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Brand to ensure smooth execution and delivery of commercial commitments.
Represent the company in meetings, sales calls, and industry or partner events when required.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree holder in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
3–6 years of relevant experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles within the hospitality or hotel industry; hotel experience is strongly preferred.
Proven track record in business development, account acquisition, or revenue generation.
Strong development and hunter mindset; self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong belief in teamwork, shared success, and supporting others to achieve common goals.
Proactive, resilient, and willing to take on new challenges with a positive and selfless attitude.
Good communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
