Draftsman / Project Designer (Luxury Retail Fit-Out)

About the Company

Our client is a leading specialist in luxury retail interior fit-out, delivering high‑end boutiques and premium retail environments across Asia. They are now expanding their project team and seeking a skilled Draftsman / Project Designer to support upcoming luxury retail fit‑out projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare precise and high‑quality technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and joinery/shop drawings.
Support the Project Manager and Design Lead in producing concept-to-construction design packages.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure drawings reflect luxury retail standards and design intent.
Update drawings based on site progress, design changes, and client feedback.
Ensure all documentation aligns with project timelines, brand guidelines, and quality requirements.
Assist with material specifications, layout planning, and design coordination for premium retail interiors.

Requirements

Diploma or higher in Interior Design, Architectural Studies, or related discipline.
At least 3 years’ drafting/design experience, ideally in luxury retail fit-out or high-end interior projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design/drafting software.
Strong understanding of construction details, joinery, material application, and premium interior finishes.
Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of precision and the ability to handle tight project schedules.
Good communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting international luxury brands is a plus.
