From concept development in our Hong Kong studio to production in Shenzhen, we craft innovative cosmetic tools and beauty‑care products for both our in‑house collections and high‑end client projects.
We are now seeking an experienced Designer with a strong background in cosmetics or beauty care to join our design team and shape the next generation of cosmetic tools and skincare‑related products for the North American market.

Role mission

To be the creative force behind cosmetic tool and beauty‑care product designs that resonate with North American consumers, delivering innovative, on‑trend concepts that enhance brand appeal and drive commercial success.

Role summary

You will be a design‑driven creator who brings fresh ideas to life for cosmetic tools and beauty‑care products, combining packaging, product, and brand‑experience design.
You will work in a Design team of 5 members in the Hong Kong office and reporting to the Design Director.
You will lead the end‑to‑end design process from research and concept development through to production handover, working closely with our internal teams and external partners in Shenzhen.
Your work will directly influence the visual identity and market positioning of our cosmetic and beauty‑care products across North America.

Key responsibilities

Conduct market and trend research with a strong focus on consumer behaviour, needs, and preferences in the cosmetics and beauty‑care sector, including competitor benchmarking and identification of design gaps and opportunities.
Lead the creation of cosmetic tool concepts such as brushes, applicators, bottles, pumps, compacts, and travel‑friendly formats tailored to North American market preferences.
Transform ideas into 2D sketches and 3D renderings for internal presentation and client approval.
Develop packaging and graphic design for cosmetic products, including labels, cartons, and promotional materials that align with brand identity and market positioning.
Drive projects from concept to production, including design handover to the product development team, sampling, and sign‑off.
Create design proposals and presentation decks that clearly communicate design stories, benefits, and visual direction to management and clients.
Collaborate closely with the Product Development, R&D, and Production teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and brand‑consistent execution.

Ideal Candidates

University degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in industrial or product design, with a strong portfolio in cosmetics, beauty care, skincare, or personal‑care products, including packaging and/or tools.
Strong hand‑sketching skills and ability to translate ideas into compelling 2D visuals and 3D renderings.
Hands‑on experience in conceptualizing and visualizing end‑to‑end design solutions for consumer‑facing beauty or cosmetic products.
Proficiency in Rhinoceros (Rhino), KeyShot (or similar 3D rendering tools), Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (or equivalent).
Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance design ideation, visualization, and workflow efficiency.
Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, and human‑factor considerations for cosmetic tools and packaging.
Good communications in spoken and written English and Mandarin (Putonghua).
Willingness to travel occasionally to Shenzhen for prototyping, sampling, and production‑related meetings.
