Overview

Our client, a leading retail and lifestyle group, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead their technology strategy and daily operations. This role is key to driving digital transformation and ensuring smooth IT support across their retail business.

Responsibilities

Design and manage the IT strategy to align with overall business objectives, particularly focusing on retail operations.
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of IT professionals to foster collaboration, performance, and innovation.
Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring that IT initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Manage budgets to align with organizational goals; monitor expenditures and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement IT solutions, including POS, CRM systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and infrastructure enhancements.
Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize and optimize store operations and operational support processes.
Ensure robust IT governance and compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
Coordinate with external vendors to negotiate contracts, manage deliverables, and ensure high-quality support and performance.
Maintain uptime and reliability of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network systems, and data security.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in IT services and systems, addressing potential areas for increased efficiency and scalability.
Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure a smooth alignment of IT goals with business needs and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 7 years of comprehensive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
Strong expertise in project management, including planning, execution, risk management, and change management.
Demonstrated experience with retail-specific applications such as POS, WMS, CRM systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
Solid experience in supporting store operations, operational support, infrastructure, and security practices with a customer-first approach.
Proven ability to manage budgets, track spend, and make cost-efficient decisions.
Strong vendor management capabilities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional departments to implement IT projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and security protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
Outstanding communication and team-building skills, with a commitment to promoting a culture of inclusivity and equality.
Good command in both English & Chinese.
