Supply Chain Logistics

Responsibilities:

Business Management

Plan, drive and enhance Regional Logistics Strategy of the Region and individual countries. Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain flow
Manage the relationship with our third-party logistics partner always seeking for Win-Win Solution
Track and Audit DC performance, drive to keep Cost and Service within balance
Develop and operate effective management processes including regular reports, regular meetings, required to support the delivery of the KPIs
Organize the DC calendar with all relevant parties (stock take, destruction, returns, scrapping)

Process Improvement

Drive improvements either within the DC or X the department, to drive our productivity upwards (process or systems)

Local Operations/Internal customers

Act as a center of excellence with regards to new Country set up, SC reengineering, optimizing product flow by working with pears in the business
Support DC and SC team with Day-to-Day issues by being an expert in your field
Own and drive the discrepancies management process. Act as an escalation point in case of claims between Avolta and supplier, or Countries as an expert in international transportation law
Audit Master Data on Key field to ensure that product flow is optimizes (missing commodity code, Customs status...)
Work with & coordinate various internal & external parties in planning, executing the action plan in response to dynamic changes of the business context

Customs Control and regulation

Liaise with local authorities to ensure 100% compliance with regulation and specifics of our trade. Be a sponge and keep your knowledge up to date as to international legal requirements
Support in accordance with countries’ import requirements in terms of documents, information required
Own and drive “special” product flow such as CITIES… to ensure that we have the leanest process implemented within our business

Cost control

Review and approve on logistics and Customs invoices to ensure adhere to contract and regulation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred
Minimum 7 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics, including at least 4 years in retail and senior management experience (e.g., managing other managers or supervising teams)
Solid experience and strong technical skills in both supply chain management and logistics operations (warehousing and transport)
Commercially minded, with the ability to consider the broader supply chain picture, including margin, supplier trade terms, cash flow and tax implications
Strong influencing and communication skills
Good behavioural skills, with strong self-awareness and awareness of impact on others
Structured thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent team player, able to build, motivate, and drive teams as well as contribute effectively as a team member
