Executive Officer / Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534936) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The School of Clinical Medicine at the LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) supports its departments and units in advancing teaching and learning, research and clinical service across a diverse range of clinical specialties. The Role

The appointee will provide a full spectrum of administrative support to the senior administrators of the School/ Department. He/she will be responsible for carrying out administrative tasks in one or more of the following areas: taught postgraduate programme coordination, human resources, finance administration, event organization, secretarial and committee support, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Candidates with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Senior Executive Assistant, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications and Qualities

A recognized university degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; IT proficiency such as MS Word, Excel, and database management;
Ability to attend to details and be independent and self-motivated; and
Those with previous work experience in tertiary institutions would have an advantage. Fresh graduates with good academic background will also be considered.
