Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying;
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in building maintenance;
Registered Electrical Worker with the EMSD preferred;

(Senior) Technical Officer

Campus Management Section

Responsibilities:

To provide technical related contract administration services for E&M and builder discipline in relation to the operations projects;
To prepare various technical reports and advise on improvement actions;
To assist in preparing annual budget;
To prepare annual/ 5-year/ 10-year maintenance plan & program, maintenance schedule, procedures, work records and checklists etc.;
To supervise day-to-day maintenance and repair works and to oversee routine maintenance tasks of various contractors;
To supervise a team of technicians to carry out regular checking, testing and commissioning of various equipment and building services after all improvement or A&A projects to ensure workmanship, schedule and details in accordance with the pre-determined and the College standards;
Lead the team to provide excellent technical services to our internal customers (i.e. College staff of different departments & students);
Any ad hoc technical services support or duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying or related disciplines;
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in building maintenance;
Registered Electrical Worker with the EMSD preferred;
Knowledge in B.S. upgrading and renovation projects preferred;
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and good in Putonghua is preferred;
Proficiency in MS Office;
Independent, motivated and self-initiated with good communication skills;
Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Senior Technical Officer.
