Role Summary

Oversee strategic vendor relationships and operational planning to ensure manufacturing efficiency and on-time delivery.
Develop production strategies, manage capacity and inventory, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This leadership role demands strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of production processes and manufacturing systems.

Position Overview

This strategic role leads end-to-end production and vendor operations across Asia.
You will ensure manufacturing partners deliver exceptional quality on time and at optimal cost, while building strategic partnerships, optimizing manufacturing footprint, and leading high-performing teams to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement production control strategies for on-time shipments and optimal capacity utilization, including establishing a Production Control Team.
Enhance vendor management systems for accurate reporting, auditing, and performance grading.
Manage internal and external production control and vendor management teams across all sites.
Implement forecasting, planning, and monitoring systems for production capacity.
Resolve production issues independently, including labor, process, and operational challenges.
Drive initiatives to exceed shipment targets while maintaining detailed production records.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Lead negotiations with third-party inspection and auditing firms for factory visits in China, Vietnam, and other regions.
Meet regularly with senior vendors to review terms and performance.
Develop vendor management frameworks with performance metrics, evaluations, and corrective actions.
Monitor factories with teams to ensure timely issue reporting and contract compliance.

Ideal Candidates

Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years in production control, supply chain, and vendor management; of which 5+ years focus in toys
Experience in US toy companies highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of global manufacturing and international supply chains.
Experience negotiating with third-party inspection/auditing firms preferred.
Ability to work frequently in Shenzhen office; willing to travel occasionally to Vietnam and SE Asia.

Terms & Benefits

Five-day work week.
13 months' salary + performance bonus.
Medical insurance covering staff and dependents.
Frequent trip and work in Shenzhen office; occasional trip to Vietnam and SE Asian offices
