JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Financial Lines broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish Howden’s presence in the financial lines group in Hong Kong. This role reports to the Senior Director, Financial Lines.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will assist with new business through networking, research, and leveraging cross-selling opportunities.
Assist to prepare tender proposals, ensuring accurate and timely insurance placements.
Gather underwriting information and provide clients with tailored solutions and advisory services.
Establish positive relationships with corporate clients and stay updated on market trends and industry practices.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

Degree or diploma holder, with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (i.e. IIQE Paper 1 & 2) is a must.
1-3 years of broking experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
Highly driven and energetic with strong interpersonal communication skills, a good team player, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
