Main Job Responsibilities :
Student Programme Development and Implementation
1. Design, revamp, and implement a wide range of talent development programmes, exhibitions, and related competitions aligned with the Academy’s Talent Development framework, promoting Whole Person Development, academic excellence, innovation, and future skills competencies.
2. Coordinate and coach gifted students through project‑based, collaborative, and self‑directed learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, sustained engagement, advanced academic growth, and innovative thinking.
3. Implement academic advising, coaching, and mentorship initiatives to support gifted students in exploring interests, identifying strengths, shaping personalised learning pathways, and engaging in progressively rigorous and meaningful learning experiences.
4. Explore and support gifted student participation in local, regional, national, and international competitions, academic conferences, research projects, exhibitions, and enrichment, advanced or specialised and innovation learning opportunities, while overseeing programme logistics, finance, service provider coordination, and gifted student placement criteria.
5. Oversee programme operations including enrolment, scheduling, records management, risk and emergency handling; administer divisional and academy‑level educational and publicity events to showcase gifted student development and achievements.
Programme Evaluation and Quality Assurance
6. Establish and maintain a comprehensive repository of teaching and learning materials, gifted student works, and artefacts to support institutional knowledge sharing, case studies, exhibitions, and long‑term asset management.
7. Conduct class observations, participant interviews, and administer feedback and evaluation mechanisms to assess learning experiences and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement, quality assurance, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
8. Uphold institutional accountability by adhering to all relevant policies, guidelines, and codes of ethics, ensuring programme integrity, professional standards, and responsible practice across all activities.
9. Compile analytical and evaluative reports with substantiated evidence on programme effectiveness, team performance, goal attainment, and key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to strategic planning and operational transparency.
10. Contribute actively to the development of the Academy’s knowledge hub in Gifted Education by supporting innovation, thought leadership, research dissemination, and the sharing of effective practices within the professional community.
Communication and Publicity
11. Maintain effective, professional communication and collaboration with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless programme delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
12. Design and disseminate promotional materials, coordinate events and campaigns, and contribute to Academy-wide publicity initiatives to showcase gifted student achievements and enhance public engagement.
13. Administer and support annual divisional and academy-level events, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive execution and impactful outcomes.
14. Ensure all practices, services, and provisions comply with academy guidelines and policies, while remaining responsive and flexible to ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
15. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall effectiveness and agility of the team.
Requirements:
a. A recognized bachelor’s degree preferably in STEAM disciplines or equivalent.
b. Minium 4 years work experience with NGO, education institution or civil services especially in academic or learning programme development, project and event management.
c. A registered teacher with 2-4 years’ relevant experience will also be considered.
d. Prior experience in coaching, mentorship, training, counselling, mentoring would be advantageous.
e. Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills. Be patient, empathetic and interested to work with young people.
f. Good command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is essential. Putonghua will be an added advantage.
g. Proficient in using MS Office. Good knowledge of IT tools application such as generative AI applications, Canva, social media platforms, and electronic publishing is a plus.
h. Occasionally travel to the Chinese Mainland and overseas with students is required.
i. Candidates possess a first-aid certificate is preferable.
Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidates will be offered an initial term of two years. Re-appointment will be subject to mutual agreement and good performance. The Academy offers a competitive salary for good candidates. Fringe benefits will be offered according to the job grade of prevailing policy.
