Sourcing Coordinator/ Merchandiser /Sr. Merchandiser /Product Manager

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years merchandising or relevant experience in Trading or Manufacturing Company. (Sourcing, Product development experience)
Motivated, Organized, and able to work efficiently to meet the deadlines of buyers
EXCELLENT COMMAND IN WRITTEN & SPOKEN ENGLISH, CANTONESE & MANDARIN SKILLS
Able to communicate with suppliers and overseas customers
Responsible, willing to learn, exhibit a positive attitude and work overtime
Excellent knowledge of product cost breakdown and production process.
Proficient in material sourcing and supplier evaluation and management.
Excellent and successful in price negotiation and problem solving skills
Travel to China for supplier evaluation, management, follow-up, and inspection.
Proficient in PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office applications).
An analytical and strategic thinker who is efficient, organized, and attentive to details and able to motivate staff and work under time deadlines.
Strong sourcing skills and network of potential suppliers that allows the company to source directly through the most cost efficient and competent factories.
Communicate clearly to suppliers, including lead time, capacity allocation, pricing and resource allocation to ensure reliable service, quality and low-cost procurement.
Coordinate with factories for manufacturing process and ensure on time shipment
Self-motivated, detailed oriented, a team player and able to work under pressure.
Experienced to supervise merchandising team, & be a team leader.
Customer-oriented, effective interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently or part of a team with overseas customers and vendors
Effectively manage and review vendor base for optimal sourcing results and possess an extensive sourcing network and excellent relationships with vendors.
Product management including product development, product selection, Target Negotiation, placement order, pricing.
Analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors to determine the right features to bring to market
Daily communications with buyers, laboratories and vendors, following through all samples, testing, production to shipments
Ensuring an effective merchandising value chain which produces goods in good quality standard and meet tight delivery
Good sourcing experience for USA and EU markets and are familiar with sourcing Websites such as Alibaba.com, globalsources.com, and other sourcing sites.
A team leader who exhibits leadership qualities and is able to work under pressure and within time constraints.
Permanent Hong Kong ID card Holder.
Flexible working times and willing to work after hours if needed.

Key responsibilities:

Take the lead in the end-to-end product sourcing cycle from product development, price negotiation to production of consumer products
Work with the buyers to understand the product and order requirement
Communicate with vendors and factories to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any potential problems
Execute and review existing internal systems and policies to ensure smooth operations and meeting company standards

Key requirements:

Degree/Diploma holder, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Good understanding on global Markets
Excellent command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with counterparts
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in computer skills and MS Office Applications
